One of the best breakfast spots I’ve ever visited in a while! I had the Be Creative omelette which was-eggs, potatoes, onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers—it was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Got my meal with toast- which was perfectly done; the butter melted right into the bread, which reminded me of the rich, flavorful bread from Nigeria and the UK. The freshly squeezed orange juice was a refreshing bonus. Loved the pictures on the wall- perfect throwback!

My hubby wanted to take me to breakfast here for my birthday yesterday morning and I'm so glad he did! The food here is delicious and very reasonably priced. This is a lovely cozy spot for breakfast. Absolutely get the fresh made lemonade and the apple spice pancakes with sausage patties. So good!

Sweet Maple Cafe has been on my To Go list for so long. I was excited to finally visit while in the area. I'm always looking for Black owned establishments to support. It's a fairly small and intimate, yet comfortable setting indoors. The staff were all nice and accommodating, which was very helpful as I had a double stroller for my children. There's an accessible entrance on the side for wheelchairs & strollers. The food was delicious with plenty to offer. We ordered a scramble & grits. Outdoor seating is offered but it hadn't opened for the season by the time I visited.

The place is small but it more than makes up for the delicious food we had there. Pancakes, bacon, potatoes & salmon patties. Everything was delicious & whenever I return to Chicago I'm running there

A classic that never disappoints. Our favorite buttermilk pancake in the entire city. (Other than homemade) We sat outside, in an open yet covered space in an enclosed screened in patio. It was very comfortable and delicious.

Listen, you HAVE to come here on a Friday morning for their catfish and eggs breakfast. So worth it! If you come here on any given day, you can expect great food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere, but if you come here on a Friday you get it with catfish! I can't wait to go back. The grits are also great with this meal. If you order cinnamon roll pancakes, you won't be able to eat regular cinnamon rolls again. SO GOOD!
